The all-new Apple Watch Ultra

True to rumors, Apple introduced a completely new smartwatch model but called Watch Ultra instead of Watch Pro. The product is geared towards a more durable design, more resistant to harsh environments, and geared towards extreme sports athletes. The 49mm titanium case, the addition of a button next to the traditional dial are the main highlights of the design. This particular model has an Oceanic Plus mode that allows detailed underwater tracking of dives.

Apple Watch Ultra has a superior battery life compared to the regular version, up to 36 hours after each charge. The battery optimization feature helps this number to last up to 60 hours.

The new Apple Watch costs $799, starting on September 23.

Apple Watch Series 8 with new temperature sensor accents

The Watch Series 8 has two new temperature sensors, one on the back and one below the display designed to track a woman's ovulation cycle. The watch checks the temperature of the wrist every 5 seconds and detects even the smallest changes of 0.1 degrees Celsius. These metrics help the device calculate the cycle, the change in the health of the owner.

Apple also introduced collision detection, which checks if the wearer has been in a car accident, and offers the option to make an emergency call. The product also has a battery saver mode with longer usage time but will disable some functions such as the always-on display.

Watch Series 8 starts at $399 for the GPS version and $499 with a cellular connection. Users can order from today and receive the device from September 16.

After two years, Apple introduced the cheapest version of the Apple Watch line. The second generation comes with an upgraded S8 chip that makes it 20% faster to process than the 2020 version. Some of the features of the device are similar to the Watch Series 8 such as collision detection.

Products are priced from 249 USD for the GPS version, 299 USD for the version with eSim and will be available from September 16.

In addition to watches and phones, Apple also introduced the AirPods Pro 2022 headset - a product that CEO Tim Cook called the "most advanced" AirPods today.
