Super durable Galaxy Tab Active4 Pro launched: Extremely resistant

Mid-range tablet model Galaxy Tab Active4 Pro has now been officially launched, impressing with its ability to withstand extreme weather.

After much speculation, the super durable Galaxy Tab Active4 Pro tablet has been officially announced by Samsung . The device has a 10.1-inch TFT LCD touch screen with a resolution of 1920x1200 pixels with Gorilla Glass 5.

Inside, this tablet is provided with a 6nm Octa-Core octa-core processor, most likely Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G and 2 memory options: 4GB RAM / 64GB ROM or 6GB RAM / 128GB ROM (can be opened) expansion via microSD card). The Galaxy Tab Active4 Pro has a replaceable 7,600 mAh battery that can even be used without the battery through connecting to a power source, despite high temperature environments. In particular, the tablet comes with an S Pen stylus.

Galaxy Tab Active4 Pro is extremely durable.

The device supports GPS, 5G, LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC connectivity, dual SIM and fingerprint sensor integrated in the Home key. However, the tablet is quite heavy – it weighs 674g and is 10.2mm thick.

In terms of software, the device runs Android 12 operating system with Samsung's One UI user interface.

The tablet comes with an S Pen, which supports quick notes and sketches.

In terms of durability, the Galaxy Tab Active4 Pro and the S Pen are rated IP68 for dust and water resistance. As a result, the device will be protected from dust, dirt and sand, submerged in fresh water at a depth of 1.5m for up to 30 minutes. The tablet also meets the MIL-STD-810H military standard, which can withstand strong shocks, moisture, immersion, salt spray, dust, vibration, and drops from a "naked" or 1m height, 2m with case included.

Samsung said that the Galaxy Tab Active4 Pro will be available in "regions of Europe" in September, and markets in Asia, Latin America, North America and the Middle East will be available "by the end of 2022". However, the company has not officially announced the price of the device.
